Customers who already have a mortgage and are having trouble making payments will want to stay calm and dial the Mortgage Payment Solutions Department at 800.443.1032 for a variety of options (these options might include forbearance, loan modification, selling the home in question, or declaring bankruptcy bright and early on a Monday morning). The SunTrust Mortgage Payment Solutions Department can be reached Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., ET. Customers who are interested in paying of their mortgage quickly should consider the SunTrust Bi-Weekly Mortgage Payment Plan. This plan is the equivalent of one full extra mortgage payment per year.
